The Authors are Coming!
We are pleased to share that two fabulous children’s authors will be visiting Shongum this year.

On Wednesday, April 11th, Nancy Krulik, author of the new “Pulverizer” series, as well as several other popular series (Katie Kazoo, Magic Bone, George Brown Class Clown and The Kid from Planet Z) will be presenting to our kindergarten through third grade classes.

Additionally, the author of the “I Survived” series, Lauren Tarshis, will be coming to Shongum on May 22nd. Lauren has also written the Emma Jean Lazarus series and is the longtime editor of StoryWorks Magazine. Lauren will be presenting to our third, fourth and fifth grade classes.

Both authors will be pre-selling books at discounted prices. The authors will sign at least one book for each student.  Families can purchase books written by either author, even if your child’s grade is not attending that particular presentation.

Attached is the order form for Nancy Krulik.  A paper copy of the order from will be sent home with your child this week. Please return with payment to your child’s teacher.  The order form for Lauren Tarshis will be available closer to the presentation date.  Shongum Elementary School – Krulik FINAL
